A Solid Uneventful Day

The title of tonight’s abstract expressionist illustration is “Strength In The Creation Of Art”.

Today was a day after a three day weekend. In the past I refer to these days as Tuesday Mondays but today was different. Today I did not allow myself to get wrapped up in nonsense and focused on my art. It was interesting to feel unencumbered by the things that usually throw me off track. I took the day to begin with sketching and then close with the creation of tonight’s abstract illustration. I remembered I am an artist and it felt good.
