Aligning The Stars In Favor of Art

The title of tonight’s abstract illustration is “Rain, Ink, And Batman Returns.

Some nights everything seems just right and creativity just flows. Tonight was one of those nights. I could hear the rain bouncing off my roof, my studio was just the right temperature, and I listened to the score for Batman Returns. By the time the last note of Siouxsie and the Banshees’ “Face To Face” I was done with my final stroke. It was the perfect night for drawing and for the first time in a long time I was not purging I was drawing.
