Is It All Worth It?

The title of tonight’s abstract illustration is “Why Am I”.

It’s not easy to try something most people do not. I use to draw portraits, cats, dogs, buildings, cartoons, book illustrations, spot illustrations and any other assignment that came my way. I had a distinct style and I have written a few books as well as illustrated a ton of others but none of it felt right. I have always done abstract illustrations but until six years ago I never put them out in the world. Now my illustrations come from deep inside myself at times when I am drawing them it feels like I may have a heart attack. I can’t seem to stop so I guess time will be the only thing that will know the outcome.
