Sometimes We Need Rain To Appreciate Sunset

The title of tonight’s abstract illustration is “And Then The Skies Cleared”.

Today was a cloudy Saturday with drizzling rain and occasional downpours. It was a day that was abnormally chilly for May and was the kind of damp that made your bones ache. All of the lost opportunities of a weekend that should be filled with springtime stolls and outdoor activities but instead was a day to be inside under covers like it was winter. But then just before dusk the clouds made way just in time to have a beautiful sunset. Maybe that’s the key, just stay in the game long enough to see a beautiful sunset.
