Things Never Feel The Same

The title of tonight’s abstract illustration is “Can You Be Inspired By Old Inspiration”.

Lately I have made a point to not use my earbuds or stream my music. I have mentioned before that I have gone back to CDs as a means of listening while I draw. I was at Barnes and Noble and picked up the re-issue of The Matrix score from the first movie. I remembered being inspired with both my art and my martial arts when I listened to the soundtrack. Well not anymore. I really wanted to be but once again it was a struggle. I think my abstract was too inspired by the subject matter.
