Always A Bit Crazy Before A Holiday

The title of today’s abstract illustration is “Compounding And Multiplying Issues That Cannot Be Resolved”.

Did you ever notice that sometimes the buildup to a holiday can be like running a marathon and getting hit in the face with a pie every mile. It just feels like you will never get there. These past four days have been gross more than words can say. With all the things I have going on in my life fate decided that I needed my hot water tank to let go and flood my basement. I have been Shop Vaccing water up since Sunday and today is Wednesday. We have no hot water and a new tank will not be here until Monday. We have an oil fired tank so that translates into many fun expensive problems. I was finally able to return everything to the basement so we have room for thanksgiving. I have to say of all holidays this one likes me the least. Even with all the garbage I still feel lucky it was not worse. I now sit here writing my blog and counting my blessings. I am thankful that my Dad has given me the ability to solve multiple problems big and small with a cool head and a strong back. To all my American followers I wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving.
