Being Free Is Not Always Being Free

The title of tonight’s abstract illustration is “The Undefined Became Defined”.

Most of the time my abstract expressionist illustrations are an amazing experience that takes me away from the waking world and transcends me into a realm where my hands become instruments of my unfettered subconscious. Some nights my intended loose and free experience becomes overworked and more like a regular illustration. Ladies and gentlemen tonight I present one of the latter.
