When We Look Back

The title of tonight’s abstract illustration is “Revisiting My reflection”.

The other night I gave my poison pen review of the Tron Ares soundtrack. When I listened to the score it left me with the felling that I just consumed tinfoil. Well between that time and now I have watched the movie and to be honest the movie has burned into me slowly. I decided to put the nine inch nails musical score back in for another try. I cannot beieve what a different experience it was. I absolutely love it now. There is a song on it (track 12 “Who wants to live forever”) that actually brought tears to my eyes. Not only has my opinion changed of this score but I now feel it is my top five of all time (and by that I men my life). I am connecting with this on so many levels that it has my synapses burning on overdrive. Not only has it made me rethink the music I am hearing but it has made me reflect on my past and my life choices. My lost loves, lost chances, lost friendships, lost loved ones, and crushed dreams. The inspiration and desperation this has caused is overwhelming. So with an exhausted pen and an exhausted mind I raise a glass (of water) to my new goto score.
