Rainy Day Lo-Fi Beats To Draw By

The name of tonight’s abstract illustration is “Created To Lo-Fi Beats In The Rain”

It has been a dreary rainy Saturday in New England. My normal reaction to the rain is to hunker down and try to ignore all the leaking and thumping in this old building. Today I decided to embrace all of the feelings associated with a grey rainy winter day. I put in my earbuds and listened to Lo-Fi beats on Amazon Music. It was a very calming and creative experience. I felt myself downshift and surf the wave of emotions the static filled retro sounds offered. It turned into a full sensory experience for me and I felt the illustration easily create itself. Sometimes in life all the stars align creatively to help produce a wonderfully quirky illustration.
