The Many Tragedies Of My Art

The title of tonight’s abstract expressionist illustration is “Leaks Repairs And Fallen Trees”.

So many small tragedies have occurred this past week it’s comical. We had windy rain last weekend that forced a dying tree in my front yard to start to lean towards our cable and power lines leading to my house. I cut the top of the tree half way and used a rope to pull off the top of the tree away from the lines. I then went up to the remaining portion of the tree and ripped it out of the ground (bare handed). Of course the tree was then covered in red angry ants that I sprayed with enough ant killer that they exited and made the fallen tree writhe in a red churning wave that I chose to walk away from. Then mid-week we had such a strong saturating rain storm that my roof in my original illustration studio poured water like there were twenty garden hoses raining in a twenty foot line across my ceiling. I went out in the pouring rain and climbed up to the roof and did a quick and dangerous repair to get me through the storm. I went on the roof the next day and did better repairs but still have another trip up to make sure I am all set for the next time. Back at the homefront my washing machine died and I had a repair company come out to fix it. They ordered the part and came back yesterday to install it. This morning I was informed they did not screw the shroud of the machine back on so now every load sounds like a giant rock tumbler. So on this night in a very exhausted and disgusted state I present the culmination of the week from Hell.
