Tuesdays Can Be Tricky

The name of tonight’s abstract illustration is “Most Days Shape Themselves”.

I wake up in the morning with a rough plan of how I want my day to go. Usually this gets obliterated by 8 am. I had many goals for my very long and cold Tuesday but as always the Gods of the days of the week decided to press the poop button. This evening as I began my daily illustration I felt the lack of any control. My pen was making wonky marks and I swear my eyes fluttered through half of the drawing. On days like this I take a deep breath and just allow my art to create itself much like the course of my day.
