Who Knew The Rain Influences Me

The title of today’s abstract illustration is “Wallowing In The Grey Of The Day”

So I realize that this is probably something that is an “only me” thing but when I look up on a rainy day I imagine what it would be like like if dragons were real. I think it is because a grey sky is like a surreal blank canvass so my mind choose to see dragons in a see of grey skies and dark clouds. I chose not to listen t music today but instead be inspired by the sound of the rain. It is no surprise that my subconscious mind created a very serpent like image. In a way it would be amazing if there were rain driven dragons that only came on the back of a rainy day. How cool it would be to see raindrops bounce off the backs of dragons in the sky instead of smashing into anything fixed or lumbering on the ground. Of course I would want the “Dragon Riders Of Pern” dragons as opposed to the ones from the movie “Reign”. Just an interesting thought to ponder on a rain filled New England evening.
